This policy explains how Renaissance Mail Connect ("the app"), operated by Renaissance Growth ("we"), handles data from Google accounts.

Who uses the app

The app is used only with Google Workspace mailboxes that Renaissance Growth owns and administers. It is not offered to the public.

Data we access

• Basic profile information (email address and name), used to confirm which mailbox signed in.
• Gmail access (the https://mail.google.com/ scope), used so the mailbox can send, receive and read its own business email through our email sending platform.

How we use it

We use Google user data only to provide the app's single purpose: connecting company-owned mailboxes to our email sending platform so they can send and receive email. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI or machine learning models.

Sharing

The OAuth tokens a mailbox grants are passed to our email sending platform provider, which uses them only to send and receive that mailbox's email on our behalf. We share Google user data with no one else, except where the law requires it.

Storage and security

Tokens are sent over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to the staff who operate the mailboxes. Credentials are kept in a password manager and are never published.

Retention and deletion

We keep a mailbox's tokens while the mailbox is in use. When a mailbox is retired, its tokens are deleted. Access can be removed at any time from the Google account's security settings (Third-party apps with account access) or by the Workspace administrator. To ask for deletion, email the contact below.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Renaissance Mail Connect's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
